Private Patient Co-ordinator
Location: Euxton Hall Hospital, Chorley
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Full-time
Salary: Depending on experience + Benefits
Summary:
Euxton Hall Private Hospital is one of Lancashire's leading private hospitals situated on the outskirts of Chorley but close to Preston and Wigan with easy access to the M65, M6 and M61 motorways.
The facility offers 32 beds all with en suite facilities to ensure complete privacy and by investing in advanced medical technology offers a wide range of treatments and services. On site there are two fully equipped ultra clean air theatres, an endoscopy and small treatment room. The hospital specialises in orthopaedic procedures offered such as arthroscopy, hip, knee replacement and upper limb surgery and offers rapid access to Breast Care services.
The role:
We currently have an excellent opportunity for an Private Patient Co-ordinator to join our team at the Euxton Hall Hospital, based in Chorley.
This is a busy and demanding role so you will need to be enthusiastic, highly motivated and have a flexible approach to their role to ensure the needs of the service are met. You will have the flexibility to respond to requests from consultants and colleagues and will be able to work under their own initiative.
Private Patient Coordinators need to be personable and confident speaking with a wide range of customers including Consultants, medical secretaries and patients with a keen sense of what good customer service entails. This role is multi-faceted and includes not only providing a gold standard of customer care to our private patient cohort but a knowledge of marketing and generation of revenue.

  • Strong customer service
  • Ability to manage a portfolio of private patients from initial call to admission
  • Sound computer skills using the MS Office
  • Confident in engaging with a variety of people
  • Articulate, with excellent communication skills in person, over the phone and in writing
  • The highest standard of personal presentation
  • Goal focused and results driven
  • Private healthcare experience desirable
