The post holder will work within the Bristol & Weston NHS Foundation Trust and be responsible for providing a welcoming and efficient service as the patient first point of contact with the Emergency Department. This will include greeting and signposting patients and relatives, processing patients using the Care Flow EPR System and liaising with clinicians and colleagues to facilitate a smooth and timely flow of patients through the department.
The post holder will be required to work shifts including evenings, nights, weekends and Bank Holidays and to participate in a 24/7 roster.
The role is responsible for setting high standards of patient care by enacting the Trust's values at all times.

To register patients on the Careflow EPR clinical system
Updating patients demographic details when required.
Issue Cas Cards for the Clinical staff for triaging patients
Answer reception telephone and deal with any queries
With discharged paperwork send out discharge letters to GP and Health Visitors.
Prep notes for scanning
Scan notes, upload to clinical system and quality check
Book appointments for plastics clinic and Consultant review clinics.
