POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Driver, you bring the passion for pizza from the Hut to the customer’s home. Whether it’s making sure the right product arrives fast and hot, or greeting a customers with a warm smile, you make it easier for every person to get a perfect pizza. Your Smart, Heart and Courage will contribute to creating a memorable experience for our customers and your teammates and help make Pizza Hut the #1 Choice in Pizza.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Delivery Champion
•Delight customers with every delivery, efficiently dispatching and delivering orders according to route planner.•Balance timely deliveries with driving safely and defensively. Take every opportunity to maintain vehicles, complete vehicle safety checks and regular risk assessments.
Health and Safety
•Implement food safety practices, including proper hand washing procedures and expertise in handling allergens and gluten-free options.•Maintain a clean and hygienic environment in the Hut, ensuring an exceptional experience. This includes removing protective wear and/or outerwear before entering back of house.
MEASURES OF SUCCESS
•Required role-based Training Learning completed within 30-days of employment•Delivery Ride Time 5.5 min avg•61% of all orders Delivered under 30minutes •Guest Experience Satisfaction •Positive contribution to ACE preparation, resulting in successful ACE Visits

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
General
•Eligibility to live and work in the UK•Previous experience in the food retail or service industry is preferred•Appreciation of food safety and standards•Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Delivery Driver only
•Valid driving license, insurance, CLC check, Compulsory Basic Training (CBT)•Reliable vehicle and helmet providing excellent protection if applicable•The ability to read maps and remember routesA smartphone may be required for delivery navigation
