We are thrilled to announce that YMCA will now be delivering high quality, targeted youth work in a youth club setting in the Milton Keynes Community. We will be giving young people the opportunity to access a safe space, to build on their connection to their community, improve their wellbeing and have fun!

As a Senior Youth Worker, you will be a positive adult role model for local young people, you will facilitate meaningful conversations, workshops and activities, whilst also taking a supportive and compassionate role. These roles are involved in the development, organising and leading community programmes aimed at young people between the ages of 11 and 25. Through these programmes, they will support and empower young people to explore and understand their ideas, values and beliefs; building their confidence and life skills.

We are seeking Senior Youth Workers (£13 per hour). You will be employed on a sessional basis, sessions will primarily be 4.5 hours and will take place in the evenings.

This role is to organise and run youth sessions during the week (term time only) on Tuesdays from 4.00 - 8.30 pm plus 3 hours a week prep time. Applicants must be able to work these shifts during term time (39 weeks per year).

All applicants must have had direct experience working with groups of young people (11-25 year olds) ideally in a youth club setting and a youth work qualification (preferably JNC).
