Transport Clerk / Administrator

Challengetrg are currently seeking experienced, flexible, and determined characters to work with one of our key clients in the drinks industry as a Transport Clerk. This is an exciting opportunity to join their dynamic Transport Team in Avonmouth who thrive on progression and upskilling all their employees. Immediate Starts. Great opportunities.

This role is vital to the operations of the Transport Office, and we need motivated candidates to take on the responsibility. Candidates may be asked to be flexible with the Shift pattern during busy periods.

Progression is a major part in this role with the possibility of being offered a permanent contract for the suitable candidates.

Details about the role:

• Location - Avonmouth - BS11 0YW
• Shift Pattern - 10:00 - 18.00 Monday - Friday
• Annual Salary - £30 K

Job Requirements

• Required to speak to drivers in the Transport Office (Driver debriefs)
• Organising the transportation of products -returns - breakages
• Maintaining Driver records - Running Reports
• Reporting any issues - Problem Solving
• Using internal planning systems
• Working within a team - Team Player
• Upbeat Personality

What we are looking for in a candidate:

• Previous experience working within an Admin role (Preferably in a busy Transport Environment)
• Knowledge of Transport/Logistics
• Reliable and able to communicate effectively, both verbally and written
• Flexible when required.
• Hard working, able to adapt well to different situations, colleagues, drivers and customers alike.
• Computer Literate - knowledge of SAP would be beneficial or similar systems.
• Upbeat personality, to join the existing team.
