Know your way around a planogram?! Appreciate how important good merchandising is and be interested in making it happen?

If yes, then we have an exciting opportunity for a Visual Merchandiser within our Central Operations Team.

The role will be based full time at our Support Centre in Speke, Liverpool L24. This could be ideal for someone who has worked in retail previously and has a keen eye for product and merchandising.

We do need someone who has some experience or knowledge of what a planogram is and what impact it is has instore. Our team produces planograms in the main for every product category B&M sell! We need to ensure by working with our retail and buying teams that we develop the Visual Merchandising plan to maximise sales, profit, and return on space.

The key accountabilities of the role will be:

• Produce planograms for different product categories, keeping them up to date as new lines arrive.
• Produce communications and training guides suitable for implementation by store teams..
• Produce best practice images.
• Develop a strong set of principles to ensure implementation in store is simple.
• Keep abreast of VM trends in other retailers to ensure that we remain visually competitive.
• Work closely with the Communications Team to ensure that new launches are well planned and supported with POS and internal marketing, where necessary.
• Store visits to review implementation and understand any issues faced in store, so that we can continuously improve.

Experience and skills we are looking for:

• Shop based retail experience would be highly desired.
• Ideally someone with experience of producing and implementing planograms.
• Microsoft Windows skills - comfortable with using PowerPoint, Word & Excel.
• Ability to articulate and communicate well.
• A self-starter who is able to work on their own initiative or as part of different teams, as required.
• Able to thrive under pressure, work at speed and deliver with tight timescales.
• Able to plan and prioritise workload with the agility to react quickly to changes.
