YOUR ROLE
Our operation in Daventry have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and customer centric Warehouse Coordinator where you will coordinate and direct day-to-day operational activities across the warehousing team to ensure fulfilment of customer requirements and achievement of operational targets and KPI’s.
This is a Monday to Friday role, 06:00-14:30 with flexibility needed to work overtime if required.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Reporting into the Warehouse Controller, you will allocate work in a fair manner ensuring operational requirements are achieved, ensuring that detailed procedures for inclusion in the contract operations procedure manual are upheld and maintained. You will proactively promote a culture of engagement and high performance, ensuring colleagues are adequately trained to cover holiday, sickness, and absence. You will monitor and record absence and lateness taking appropriate action when required and designate appropriate individuals to maintain and repair MHE as and when required or escalate when needed.
You will ensure excellent working relationships with the client and customers internally and externally with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Our ideal candidate will have proven experience within a similar warehousing or stock-based role, ideally within a warehousing or 3PL environment. You will need to be resilient and motivated, be able to work well as part of a team or alone and use your initiative to solve problems. You must be a strong communicator both verbally and written, reliable and self-motivated.
